The BLUEPEARL combines the classic clipper ketch styling on deck and below with state of the art naval architecture, sail handling systems, including all amenities for gracious and very comfortable living aboard. 

On deck, the BLUEPEARL is expansive and uncluttered with a clean even teak deck that is modern but still shows the classic clipper look of a real sailing ship. Her ornate bowsprit is beautiful. Her dual aft helms and HMi monitoring systems afford the sailing enthusiasts fingertip control as you cruise along at 12 knots. The flat deck aft affords an area for sleek wood deck chairs while the sturdy bimini covered cockpit seats up to 12 easily at several inlaid teak tables, which is serviced by a wet bar, complete with ice maker, refrig and dumb waiter from the galley. There is plenty of storage space on deck and below decks. 

The enclosed mid deck area allows for a complete 360 degree vista and is furnished with teak sofas and chairs which surround another inlaid folding teak table that seats eight. There is a mini galley in this area with dumb waiter access to the below decks galley. This area is protected by the spacious fully enclosed windowed pilothouse that also houses a third helm and full instrument console. There is a crew “oily room” for wet weather gear and wash down. 

The flat clean decks with flush hatches are complimented by a classic raised salon with beautiful surrounding windows that provide an abundance of natural light to the interior of the yacht. 

Although classic in styling, the BLUEPEARL's engineering is state of the art in all respects, from her all Carbon rigging to her hydraulic swim platform, captive reel winches, bow thruster, and optional deck crane. A complete Hmi/Apple entertainment/sound system with flat screens can be found in every room on the yacht. The Hmi system monitors all aspects of the yacht for safety and displays are in the captain’s cabin, owner’s suite and helms. An optional NVTI infrared and night vision system can be deployed on the main mast. 

The Renee Hilkku interior aboard BLUEPEARL 114 is crafted in satin finished mahogany and teak complimented by vaulted overhead tongue in grove panels finished white, plank bamboo floors, lush carpet in places, elongated rounded portlights, large transom port windows in the aft suits, skylights, deck prisms and deep pile oriental rugs and marble baths. The layout and décor exude a luxurious stately ambiance of open spaces and comfort. The library/stateroom is inviting with a soft deep leather couch and chair, reading lamp, elegant paintings, bookcases, flat screen and fireplace. The day head with shower and sink are immediately off of the library. The interior spaces are well appointed and inviting. The BluePearl is a true home on the water and her level interior decks add to the feeling of a continuous living space. The galley boasts a full Viking range with stove along with a gimbaled stove and oven. There is plenty of storage for wine in the wine cooler and wine racks which abound throughout the yacht.


The RAISED PILOTHOUSE, with full navigation/communication station to starboard and dining settee for 8 to port offers unrestricted, panoramic views with line of sight visibility at deck level and lots of light. 

The Pilothouse adjoins the MAIN AND DINING SALON forward and down 6 steps, to create an extremely comfortable expansive living area with oriental rugs and a furniture setting to port containing a large couch, an end table, and a tea table with flanking chairs. There are bookshelves and pictures along with a wet bar, icemaker and flat screen. Located to starboard, there is formal dining with seating for 12 at a beautiful inlaid teak table flanked by a built in wine rack and pass thru serving area from the gourmet galley. 

The OWNER'S SUITE aft is very spacious and looks out through 4 large port windows and includes an office. This area can be built to have two adjoining staterooms with two ensuite heads and showers. The single master stateroom is adorned with walnut and maghoney with 1 ¾ inch two panel doors, a full ensuite head, with double marbled sink, a bidet and a massive marble tiled shower. A spacious armoire, desk and dressing table complement this most private area aboard the yacht. 

The LIBRARY/STATEROOM is a cozy room with a queen sleeper leather couch, an overstuffed leather chair, end table, lamp, a fireplace, a large flat screen, book shelves, and its own ensuite head, sink and shower that can be used as a day head. 

The mirror image GUEST STATEROOMS forward of the salon are configured with queen beds and nightstand. A 3 ft by 6 ft. Pullman bunk along the aft bulkhead can be used to create a third comfortable sleeping area. Each stateroom has a full ensuite head, marble sink and large marble shower. Guests have plenty of room for belongings in a large armoire and an ornate dressing table is available for the ladies. 

The CREW AREA forward houses 5-6 crew in three staterooms, with separate ensuite heads and showers plus a crew mess and limited galley. The captain’s stateroom has a double bed and desk complete with ships monitors. 

There is a central PBX phone system with a phone in each stateroom and worldwide telephone and Internet.


The gourmet galley is to starboard just off the salon. It is isolated by a sliding heavy 1 ¾ inch door but has a serving pass thru to the dining area. A dumb waiter to the enclosed cockpit comes up in the wet bar area and allows easy service to guests. The galley has a floor to ceiling SubZero standard refrigerator, and under counter drawer freezer, a Bosch dishwasher, trash compactor, SubZero wine cooler, a full Viking stove and oven, a gimbaled stove and oven, a large exhaust hood, a large porcelain double sink with garbage disposal lots of drawers, cupboards and storage space. There is a full auxiliary chest freezer in the compartment below the salon/galley floor accessed by a door from the galley. This area also contains a separate full vertical washer and dryer.


The joinery is superior in mahogany and teak. The floors are plank bamboo. Marble and rich woods grace the baths and showers. Hatches have mosquito and blackout screens. Lighting is ambient and mood orientated. LEDs are used in utility areas for energy saving. There are reading lights, step lights, courtesy lighting and overhead lighting. Air conditioning is via two chillers with a thermostat in each room, which allows make up air, cooled air or warm air. There are many hatches, which can be used for outside fresh air.

Deck and Hull

THE BLUEPEARL is built to and maintained in American Ship Building Service Classification and she complies fully with the latest MCA Code for Large Yachts. 


Molded epoxy composite solid hull below the waterline and cored above, the deck is cored with teak overlay on all deck surfaces. 

Low aspect ratio fin keel w/ internal ballast. 

Deep, partially balanced epoxy composite fiber spade rudder on a half skeg with cable/quadrant drive Hydraulically controlled. 

The transom is clean and void of everything except a gate for a stern passerrale. There are no davits to clutter up the stern or cause problems with a dinghy dangling from the back of your sailing ship. 

The hydraulic fold down swimming and boarding access with lights, shower, ladder and railings is located amidships on the starboard side of the yacht and is easily accessed from the deck. There is also a second on deck shower located in the stern. 

There is a self-tacking staysail and a forward crane so that the dinghy can be carried forward on the expansive clear deck. There are two Muir VRC 6000 windlass and two anchors. The forward water tight compartmenting, water tight doors, stability & fire retardant capability and firefighting equipment, are all to MCA standards.
