Built by one of the most regarded aluminum yacht manufacturers in Canada, the Polar Bear was designed to cruise the open ocean in complete safety and comfort.  Since her launch in 2007 her owner has used the vessel exclusively in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, only during summer months.  Her Captain and First Mate have rigorously maintained her since her launch, and hence, she shows as if new.

From the swim deck, dual stairs access a wide aft deck with covered seating for 8 and walk-around decks. Enter the salon by entering a wide centerline-door, which has huge windows and bright golden maple joinery with custom sofa and lounge chairs facing a retractable 60-inch TV.

A dining table that easily seats 10 fills the forward part of the salon with onyx buffets surrounding.  Past the starboard deck entrance, dark-stained cherry floors offset the bright and modern honey-golden maple joinery. Then, forward past the floating staircase, are two queen size and full ensuite staterooms with twin pullman type bunks, making almost any guest combination possible.

Further forward, the generous V.I.P. stateroom with king bed, make-up desk, and enormous walk-in closet,  full ensuite with marble dual-basin sinks and shower.

The pilothouse is forward with access to the foredeck, flybridge deck and day head. Aft is the owner's stateroom which opens onto the afterdeck. There is a partial deckhead overhang and walkways extend forward on each side and up to the wheelhouse and foredeck.

The wheelhouse also has access to the port and starboard wing stations, anchor windlasses and the bow, which incorporates a very popular seating area for guests with comfortable bow cushions.

There are 3 captain’s chairs in the wheelhouse, which is well equipped with modern electronics and navigation equipment. A raised settee, which comfortably accommodates 4 for meals, with granite table, affords commanding views through the large panoramic windows.

The owner’s stateroom has sweeping views with a desk aft to port, a full-size door takes you to the owners private deck.  Forward you enter the large and efficiently designed walk-in closet and ensuite with white onyx dual basin, enclosed WC and bidet, jetted tub and separate steam shower.  A full-size stacked washer-drier is accessed next to the shower.

Up the bridge deck stairs through the full-size door and into the heated and enclosed flybridge entertainment area, which contains seating for 6 on either side of the flybridge pilot console and seat.

At the C-shaped settee sweeping panoramic views surround seating for 8 on a convertible teak dining or cocktail table.   Aft in the enclosure are a wet bar, exercise bike and grill.

The remaining deck space aft is open and provides storage for 2 tenders, liferafts and crane and is convertible for guest lounging once the tenders have been launched.

From the stern you step over the fish-hold hatch and down to the spacious lazarette with ample space to hang sporting gear and equipment.  A deep sink, garbage compactor with vented garbage storage room, bait freezer and enormous tool chest are included.

Forward of the lazarette, through a watertight door, is the huge engine room with full headroom and walk around space to both main engines and generators.  Electrical, HVAC and generator control panels are forward towards the crew accommodation.

Forward of the engine room watertight door is the cofferdam leading to perhaps the largest crew quarters ever designed on a 93’ trawler.  Included are a settee for 4, crew galley with full-size oven, 5-burner cook-top and microwave, full size fridge/freezer, top-loading dishwasher and a third full-size washer-drier.

To starboard of the twin-bunk crew quarters is the expedition chef’s dream with ample dry-stores, freezer and refrigeration space. Ahead a watertight door leads to the forepeak locker with engineering and domestic goods storage and access to the bow-thruster assembly.
